PAINTING EXPOSITION in MIJAS
On Friday, 19th of October Marisa Martí Loscos inaugurated her exposition in the Ethnographical Museum of Mijas Pueblo (old Town Hall). She paints scenes of Andalusian villages, our cobble-stoned streets, ancient wooden doorways, fincas and white-washed churches. She claims she is not an artist, but a great fan of artists. She simply enjoys seeing her original sketch turn into something more. Marisa is a self-taught person and has made her dream come true by exposing and sharing her work for the first time with all her town folks. We recommend a visit to this exposition and at the same time admire the museum that has a varied collection of artefacts which reflect rural life and the way villagers lived and worked in Mijas in the past century.
